Wiz Khalifa Ranked #15 In “King Of Hip-Hop” Race
Rolling Stone just revealed their “King Of Hip-Hop” where they ranked 20 artists based off album sales, views on Youtube, concert sales, awards, and other categories related to social media. Eminem took the crown but Pittsburgh’s own Wiz Khalifa made a strong showing by being ranked 15th. Not bad at all for a rookie with only one album under his belt

Wiz Khalifa Feels Homesick
Wiz Khalifa is in Europe touring right now, he took to his tumblr earlier to express how he misses being home. Checkout what he said:
I’ve been on the road for more than a year now and this is the most home sick I’ve ever been. I miss my crib, my bed, my woman, her kisses, some damn fuckin breakfast lunch and dinner. Yea all that stuff. Europe is pretty tight, and the fans are great, but when iss all said and done and I get some time off ima be one happy taylor…

Wiz Khalifa Fulfills A Wish
Shuji, who is pictured with Wiz Khalifa and his friend Zeid below, is part of the Make-A-Wish foundation. During the Rolling Papers tour homecoming show, Shuji’s wish came true as he and his friend got to meet Wiz Khalifa. If you didn’t know, the Make-A-Wish foundation is in support of kids who suffer from life threatening conditions.

Forbes released its yearly earnings list and coming in at number 11 on hiphops earnings was raps newcomer Wiz Khalifa. Great to see a guy getting his well deserved earnings, 11 is a pretty good spot considering he doesn’t own a label (such as young money, mmg, g.o.o.d.) yet.

Wiz Khalifa gears up for hometown finish to tour
“I never stop grinding,” Wiz Khalifa said Tuesday afternoon, a few hours before his gig in Indianapolis.
The Pittsburgh rapper seems to have been on the road almost constantly since spring 2010. On Saturday, he wraps up the 40-plus city “Rolling Papers” U.S. tour with a hometown show at the Trib Amphitheater.
“It’s always fun to play in front of the home crowd,” he said.
The shows that stuck out for him on this tour were a June date in San Francisco that sold out the 8,500-capacity Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and a July 24 show that drew 15,000 fans to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md., where Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T and Curren$y were surprise guests.
Before that, he did a European run, where he said, in terms of the crowd reaction, “it was pretty much exactly the same, which was crazy, because a lot of those countries don’t speak English.”
