Wiz Khalifa Talks About Meeting Amber Rose Being An Example and More

Don’t be fooled by the façade. There’s more to Wiz Khalifa than tattoos and medicinal marijuana.
The rapper recently sat down with S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown for a one-on-one interview in which he talked about his upbringing, his career and his future with Amber Rose.
After it was all said and done, Wiz left Jamie thinking of him as “smart” with a “good heart.”

Jamie: Now let’s get into the girlfriend stuff. You’re a cutie pie. Did you have a lot of girlfriends growing up?
Wiz: (laughs) I didn’t have a lot of girlfriends growing up, just because I was so young; you know.

Jamie: You are young. That’s too funny that you said that. Well, how did you get with Amber?
Wiz: Two great people when they meet up, and when you’re at a certain point in your life, you know, I’m a little bit more mature than people in my age range. I’ve always been able to know when I have a good situation and be able to hold that close to me and not ruin it. Just because I’m young and in my past before I wasn’t always with (just) one girl, or usually rappers aren’t, you know what I’m saying? It’s not really regular for a rapper to be like, “This is my girl and this is the only woman that I’m going to be with.” But it just makes sense to me, and that’s how I really feel. And I just put that out there and everybody who embraces me, they have to embrace that as well.
Jamie: That is amazing that you even said that!
Wiz: (laughs)
Jamie: Because these guys don’t commit to anything today. Who are you?!
Wiz: Who am I? (laughs)
Jamie: Who are you? (laughs)
Wiz: I’m an example. (laughs)
Jamie: I’m just so floored. So, the connection between you and her is just real. Where did you meet her?
Wiz: I met her in L.A. Well, we talked on the Internet first because I was on tour. And she’s designing a sunglasses store, and she was just interested in my look and wanted me to be a part of her line. And it was at a time where she was just really focused on work and I was really just trying to get my stuff off the ground, too, so we were really just focused on business and being cool and stuff like that. But when we met, we hit it off just right away. I just became so interested in her and I didn’t want to spend any time away from her. I always wanted to be around her and she felt the same way, and I ended up just moving out to L.A. and just started my life out there with her.
Jamie: Oh my god! I just have to get up off of the floor!
Wiz: (laughs)
